OLD REGULATIONS	PROPOSED NEW REGULATION
16.9 Best Performance in a match – There will be an award for the best performance in a match in each grade.	16.9 Best Performance in a 2 Day match – There will be an award for the best performance in a 2 Day match in each grade.
16.11 Best Performance in a day – There will be an award for the best performance in a day in each grade.	16.11 Best Performance in a 1 Day match – There will be an award for the best performance in a 1 Day match in each grade.

SUMMARY

"The current playing regulations for Season's Awards (Trophies) for Best Performance in a match and Best Performance in a day need to be updated and clarified to stipulate Best performance in a 2 Day Match and Best performance in a 1 Day Match." Adam Brady

BACKGROUND

This is an old error that has remained uncorrected for some time. To be honest the practice for some time has been to award these trophies on the basis of 2 day performances and 1 day performances as proposed.

DISCUSSION

This is a tidying exercise. Not at all controversial, merely correcting a minor anomaly.
